Fine Arts Ministry...

The Fine Arts Ministry is one of many avenues of service at Town and Country Christian Church. Our purpose is to give glory to our Lord Jesus Christ using the talents with which he provided us.
?God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God?s many kinds of blessings.? ( I Peter 4:10)
Some of the activities and programs the Fine Arts Ministry is involved in are:

• Celebration Choir
  • The Celebration Choir is an adult choral group.
  • It meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. from September through May.
  • Large expanded productions are prepared each year for Christmas and Easter.
    • These presentations require the services of dramatists
    • Costume makers
    • Script writers
    • Lighting and sound technicians, etc
  • The choir also provides music for worship services and special occasions.
  • Childcare is available during the rehearsals.


• Worship Team
  • Worship Team vocalists lead the congregation in the celebration of worship.
  • They meet with the Praise Band to prepare for Sunday?s worship each Wednesday following choir practice.


• Praise Band
  • The praise band accompanies the congregational singing during the Sunday worship services.
  • Rehearsals are held weekly.


• Ensembles
  • Vocal ensembles are sometimes formed from the choir and practices are arranged to accommodate the group.
  • Each group provides music for worship services and seasonal musicals.


• Tone Chimes
  • The Tone Chime Choir provides communion and offering mediations during worship services and adds a delightful sound to any occasion.
  • Tone Chimes are an excellent tool for teaching music reading and a fun small group activity.


• Drama
  • The Drama ministry provides opportunities for individuals to use their gifts in service to the Lord?s church.
  • Script writing, acting, directing, sound, and lights are only a few of the many skills needed for this ministry.
  • Five-minute skits are used frequently during worship services to highlight the message of the day.
  • On a larger scale, dramatic musicals are produced each year at Christmas and Easter requiring the services of over 100 people.


• New Song
  • New Song is a choral organization for elementary age children.
  • It meets each Wednesday after school from September to December.
  • They prepare a musical that is the featured attraction at the all-church Christmas production known as Luminary Square.


• Broken
  • The Jr. & Sr. High School group known as Broken meets on Sunday evenings to prepare contemporary music and drama presentations.
  • This provides the youth an opportunity to develop their skills in service to the Lord in an enjoyable activity.
