Mens Ministry...
Our Men?s Ministry program is designed to give the men at Town and Country Christian Church the opportunity to experience joy and growth in their Christian Life by participating in support, fellowship and evangelism activities. Our purpose is to Glorify Christ in all things, to grow in the knowledge of His word, uplift and encourage one another in our Christian walks, and to provide opportunities for service in our church and community while reaching out to others. Men?s Ministry tries to help men by giving them the tools they need in today?s world as Christian husbands, fathers and leaders, that God meant for men to be.
Our Men?s Ministry Mission is to be a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to each other, united in purpose through vital relationships, personal and corporate; and through a passionate study of the Word we will set a daily goal of becoming a Godly influence in our families, in our church, in our work and in our communities.
Some of the activities and programs the men?s ministry is involved in are:
- Outreach and Evangelism
- Yearly golf outing
- Living Last Supper Performance
- Promise Keeper's conference attendance
Spiritual Growth:- Thursday night bible studies geared toward men
- National, regional, and local conference attendance
- Prayer breakfasts
Fellowship (Group activities such as):- Trips
- Chili or pie cook-offs
- Women?s Ministry Kitchen cooking and clean up
Service Opportunities:- Serving communion
- Greeting new members
- Organizing an all-church tailgate party
- Food service for celebration dinners
The Men?s Ministry planning meetings are held quarterly at the church.
All men are invited to attend.
These meetings serve as a forum for necessary business discussions and planning for ministry needs.
